Ethiopian airline which is one of Africa biggest airline has launch Wi-Fi connectivity for passengers. This new development is to improve their customer service. Passengers on the Airbus A350 fleet will be the first to experience this new offer. With the help of Ka-band satellite broadband technology Ethiopian airline is able to achieve this new offer but at the beginning the services will only be available to few passengers before expansion to create room for more passengers to enjoy this service.
Tewolde Gebre Mariam the Group CEO of Ethiopian Airline said this new offer is to provide their customers with better services. She adds that as a customer centric airline, we are passionate in providing excellent customer service taking advantage of new infrastructure and technologies. This Wi-Fi will be available for purchase to passenger at the Ethiopian Airline sales outlet, in-flight and boarding gates. It will also be available on ShebaMiles a platform run by the national carrier.
