The 3rd inaugural IoT Forum Africa 2019, which is scheduled to hold on 26-27 March 2019, will be attended by dignitatries including the Deputy Minister of Communications, Ms Pinky Kekana. Ms Kekana will be delivering a keynote address at the event, which will take place at the Gallagher Convention centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.
This forum will create a platform for all participants to share their knowledge of real-world IoT trends, challenges and solutions. This participants include academics, specialists, IoT ecosystem participants, etc.
The forum which has been tagged “Driving Performance, Growth and Profitability with the power of IoT” is set to analyse how any business can harness value from IoT today and in the future.
The Deputy Minister of Communications, Ms Kekana is passionate about bridging the digital divide between people of rural and metro areas, with a focus on living, working, and travelling.
Recently, she represented south Africa at the GSMA Mobile World Conference, where she announced the launch of the Internet Inclusion Index.
