YouTube Music now launched

YouTube has launched a new music streaming service called YouTube Music in South Africa.

This is a new music service with official albums, singles, videos, remixes, live performance for all devices , whether android, IOS or desktop.

YouTube Music app allows you to easily find what you’re looking for and discover new music. Get playlists and recommendations served to you based on your context, tastes, and what’s trending around you.

According to Google SA Head of Marketing, Asha Patel. “A home screen that dynamically adapts to provide recommendations based on what you’ve played before, where you are and what you’re doing. Thousands of playlists across any genre, mood or activity. The hottest new music. And, no internet? No worries. Get YouTube Music Premium to listen ad-free, in the background and on-the-go with downloads. Plus, your Offline mix tape automatically downloads songs you love just in case you forgot to,” she added.

With the app, you can find the music you want, easily find the albums, singles, live performances, covers, and remixes you’re looking for just by searching the lyrics.
Don’t know a song’s name? Just search the lyrics or describe it.

With YouTube Premium, you enjoy uninterrupted listening, listen ad-free. Also, you don’t have to worry about your music stopping when you lock your phone or use other apps.

To get one free month of Music Premium to listen ad-free, offline, and with your screen locked, then pay just R59.99 a month. Existing Google Play Music members and users of the service who have already received a 30 day trial are not eligible. Monthly charges auto-renew for Music Premium membership outside of trial periods.

Music fans can get three months of YouTube Music Premium free, but only for a limited time – you’ll pay R59.99 per month after or R89.99 per month for a Family Plan.

Google Play Music subscribers will automatically receive access to YouTube Music Premium at their current price.

“Nothing is changing with Google Play Music,” Patel re-assured. “You’ll still be able to access all of your purchased music, uploads and playlists in Google Play Music just like always.”
